Rising to The Challenge: Shifting Commutes in MA

written by Leah Beckett Nov 7th 2018

To celebrate World Car-Free Day on September 21st, MassRIDES planned and hosted its second Massachusetts Clean Commute Challenge (“The Challenge”). Employees of partner organizations took green trips on September 21st and logged them in Bay State Commute to help advance their company’s total. The two companies with the highest percentage rates of green commuters won commuter breakfasts and random participants were awarded $25 Amazon gift cards. MassRIDES compiled an infographic summarizing the results of The Challenge below.

Although MassRIDES celebrated green commuting on this specific day, you can always log your green trips – both for commuting and for personal travel – on Bay State Commute to track your footprint and earn rewards for doing so.
